Alongside the amazing tunes, and food catered to our guest, a slideshow presentation on our 60” television screens showcased the rich history of understanding consumer lifestyles and marketing to the multicultural audience. We are particularly delighted to see the ingenuity that makes up today’s musical landscape. What is particularly evident in these growing years of music is the amount of ownership and risks artists are currently taking.
I had the chance to interview some of the attendees, as they expressed their gratitude for this experience as, “It was refreshing to be in the same room with individuals on the move especially with those I graduated with and seeing the progression of everyone in their career.”
The attendees were also able to take home a nice gift bag wrapped in gold of today’s latest hit albums from DJ Khaled, Future, Amine, A Tribe Called Quest, Damien Marley, Julia Michaels, Lorde, Post Malone, Preservation Hall Jazz Band along with many more. After gathering a list of todays’ Grammy-awarded and current break-through artists, the red carpet was rolled out to capture the new wave that is carrying us along this rich landscape of music.
Overall the event was a success and attendees left Patchwerk Recording Studios asking for updates on the next Who’s Werking Mixer. Definitely an opportunity to unite the Atlanta music community impacting the sound of tomorrow.
