We are looking for a few entertaining individuals to join us for our fall programming of curated events empowering artist and musicians worldwide. The Plaque of the Month for July goes to the Brooklyn emcee Nas. Listed in many conversations as one of hip hop's greatest, Patchwerk Recording Studio's has the honor of saying we have werked on numerous projects including the July 15, 2008 release "Untitled." Amongst all the excitement of Jay Z releasing what some view as his most socially awoke album, you only need to look in your hip hop history books to realize Nasir Jones has tackled these issues for years.
The follow up to our Tight 32 Finale which took place back in January finally aired this past week on The Complex Network. The monthly contest united all the winners from 2016 and battled it out in Patchwerk Recording Studio's A Room called Studio 9000. Our Tight 32 engineer Latrez McClam loaded up each artist matched with producer to recite their 32 bars. Every artist was able to receive the tracks days in advance before the session so nothing but bars were being served.
On the daily I speak with several artist and musicians who say they are ready to elevate their career and be heard. There is no blueprint to the music business today but consistency is key. Creating a powerful network of individuals who are actually WERKING in the music industry can change everything. Every 1st Thursday of the month Patchwerk Recording Studios host an network and showcase event to assist the talent who understand this philosophy. We focus on four direct elements at all our events. For the longest I always wanted to put the most valuable players detrimental to a record's succcess on the spot so all the music enthusiast could sit and watch them speak. Who are these individuals taking the title of mvp you say? Only the person who can bend and maneuver your vocals into a werk of art. Yes you already know how we spell this around The Patch! The engineers!
Our monthly workshops are geared for the artist and musicians to learn from an industry professional and this month is no different! After the music is created how do you generate a buzz about your project? Who is telling your story and who actually cares enough to give attention. The next weekend werkshop will cover the Role Of A Publicist with Tia Culver.

Meet the new program delivering sweet music to your ears every Monday at Patchwerk Recording Studios. The marketing team at Patchwerk currently has two online shows currently previously streamed on the Twitter platform Periscope and Patchwerk Studio Instagram Live. Just like the customer service you receive when you book a session, the Cookies and Lemonade for us is the sweet music we get to review weekly.
The winner of the producer portion for That Tight Thirty Two On Thurzdayz for the month of August goes to Chase The Money hailing from St.Louis, Missouri. Similar to the emcee registration, Chase entered the contest going against some heavy hitters. Every month the judges look for production that make it fairly easy for true emcees to feel comfortable unleashing 32 bars inside the Sonically Superior establishment known as Patchwerk Recording Studios. Check out our interview with Chase The Money and connect with him for your next project!
