Each MC was paired with a producer who submitted a beat for the competition and the team with the hottest song would be eligible for the win. Just outside the studio doors, Chef Jeremiah Bullfrog, former chef to multi-platinum recording artist Rick Ross, served up a southern soul-filled meal of chicken, greens, and grits to the contestants.
Once each song was finalized by Patchwerk's audio engineer Latrez McClam, the Patchwerk staff determined the last few teams considered for the title.
Then there was three. The final contestants included Preme Cordice with producer Hannibal, Dave Lucci with producer Kangaroo and Rio with producer Young Treja. A raise of hands by MCs and producers alike decided the fate of the finalist. In the end, Preme Cordice took the crown, well...technically the chain. Along with winning the official IdOMUSIC chain, Preme Cordice will now be the ambassador for That Tight Thirty Two On Thurzdayz event in 2017 and featured in February's IdOMUSIC showcase.
