Where do producers go for feedback when you need an honest opinion? Friends and family of course but they aren't the ones buying your beats right? Shoutout to your friends that support your craft if so! For the most part you hope what your making slaps and the world will see you about it. Well we have a solution for the producer community! Welcome to The Bassline.
While seeking some inspiration the other day, I came across a great piece by Vevo on the history of Scott Storch. The man is a magician on the keys. He lived the life and played a bit hard taking a fall but has since bounced back stronger than ever. The video displays his story of the classic hollywood tale consisting of the come up and the fall.
It's time to give our IdOMUSIC TV a reboot! I really think people may not understand the difference between a host and personality. Well let me attempt to break it down as we open our doors to the talent prepared to werk with us this fall season.
June 29th, 2018 Aubrey Graham, better known as Drake, dropped what has been said to be the album of the year! The album, rightfully named “Scorpion,” for it’s lethal lyrics and of course to represent his Zodiac sign of Scorpio, has seemed to break the internet.

Club spins are cool, radio spins are great, but coverage in the media is what really makes you a household name.
In this sold-out werkshop, Neima Abdulahi (@neimerdreamer) shared the importance of pitching your music and content to media sources, be it MTV or CNN. She also shared tips on how to go about the pitch, proper netwerking, and how important it is for artists to be aware of what is going on in their community, along with the community’s history.
“Having a story that resonates with people, I think is the most important thing…something that resonates with your community. And being connected to your community so you know what resonates with them.” – @sammyapproved (Host/Content Creator)
Yesterday we completed That Tight Thirty Two On Thurzdayz Emcee and Producer competition to set off the third season! Some emcees delivered bars with ease while others took their time to get it right. We need your help deciding the victor. Think you can do that?
Starting a new series dedicated to the intricate lines delivered by iconic emcees. The first for this series is with Ras Kass. The owner of Patchwerk Recording Studios, Curtis Daniel III and friend to Ras created the concept. Throughout Ras’ career he has had a lot of people tell him how much they like his lyrics.
